Default Probationary Licence

My licence says probation to 28 Mar 2007. Does this mean that I'm off my p plates today? Or does it mean that my probation includes today?

I think it means that I'm off my plates today, but I just need to be sure. Cheers :

P = provisional
Probationary license is the one you get for a year after a period of disqualification. Comes with a measly 2 points, and I know.

yep.

For the record probationary doesn’t actually mean that anymore, been watered down quite a bit over the years. When it first came in it meant exactly that; you have your license but you're on probation! One slip up and your G.A.W.N! Now it means: "Oh well I'll risk doing this burnout or I'll risk running this red light, or I'll risk passing on these double lines....... cus on the off chance that I get caught its only a fine or a point or 2! S.O.F.T. IMO! If we went back to zero tolerance I wonder if they would still consider it 'worth the risk'?

Congratulations '3' very well done. :1syellow1

We have Red Ps for 1 year, with 3 demerit points.
Green Ps for 2 years with 6 demerit points.
Then full licence.

Have to do a test for each stage. (NSW)

"Team no fines on Ps" FTW!

Yeah I'm suprised never got any. Still haven't and I've been on opens for 3 months.

Just goes to prove there's sensible young drivers out there whether they have a powerfull car or not.

So have you joined a Volvo car club? : Get boost buddy, you know you want to :

Yep and it sucks. But when you get out of your car they sure notice particularly if you drive a nice car. :

LMAO off my mate said to keep the Ps on because the chicks are going to think were old! Meh I rather not have the attention of the boys in blue though.
