well they are genuine, and Ford only made so many, so a tough call.

The thing with anything for sale really comes down to what people are willing to pay.. As that makes it what the value is.

If there is a bidding part, then you can bid and hope to get them cheaper or if it is set then you need to decide if you, yourself, would pay that much. Me, personally I wouldn't, but that is only because I don't want those type of rims!!

I bought something off of ebay and was told I paid to much for it, but quite frankly to me it was worth it. It meant I had what I wanted and didn't have to keep searching for one cheaper or didn't have to compromise.

Some would, some wouldn't.
Comes totally down to the individual.

I sold similar rims for $1100 in pretty much brand new condition with near-new tyres... at least they went to an E series member though.

I don't know if you can still get them new, but they weren't absurdly expensive considering the rarity, I paid about $2k new.

You should wait till the auction finishes and hopefully no one will bid and offer him how much you would pay for them.

Id pay that.

Be worth a bit to someone one day if they decide to restore or do up an original SVO.

for good condition i expect a set to go for $800 - $1000, possibly $600 at the very very cheapest.

Id buy them, i was looking for a set for my XF a couple of years ago and SVO wanted $1500 just for the rims brand new! Mint looking rims. If i had an EA/B/D id be getting a set of those.

I just saw a very dented low SVO (with rims) go to the Knox Club at about 3pm - His whole car looked worth $1,000..........

I wouldn't, but am in the "Don't want those type of wheels" catagory.

However, if that's what you are after look at it that with new rubber you will have what you want, that is different to most other cars on the road, and you could have them on the car for well under $1500.

You are the only one to make the decision what you like in a rim will more than likely be totally different to someone else. so you decide and don't waste everyone's time considering they are getting harder and harder to get in as new condition most high profile wheel marts will charge that and more take tyre factory el GT's 2100.00 with their shitty 45 series tyres. If the price has dropped then what are you waiting for .You display an svo avatar so you must have some idea of their worth.!!!????!!!

With the Ebay rims, if the price is buy it now for $800 and has been dropped from a grand, if you want them offer like $600 in a message, because to drop the price he might have had no interest from anyone.
