Default Recommendations for tinting.

Hey guys

Looking at getting my car tinted. Anyone have any recommendations for places to get my car done and roughly how much?

I'm located in Beaumaris so around that area would be good...

Have looked a tint-a-car with their midnight express but open to suggestions, just dont want any dodgy purple bubbley shite!

I got my wagon tinted from Tint Professor 3 weeks ago.
Some people think they are crap, others don't, and I am really happy with it, they will give you a courtesy car for the couple hours it takes.
And being a wagon they were happy to go just a bit darker than legal on the back.... all good

I got the midnight express on my old EF Glenn.
I was very happy with it.

Tint professor did my previous ride, good job, well priced. They picked the car up from my place, and left me with a loaner. Then bought my car back when it was done. I personally have an issue with Tint-a-Car with how they treat there franchisees. So I'll never go to them again on principle.

Hey guys
thanks for the comments

a mate just got his car done by them and when they dropped they car off they told him that there was some bubbling on the rear window and that it was "normal" because its moisture from when they tinted it and being so hot it'll take a while to come out.

Person also said it could take upto 3 weeks for it to sort itself out?

Is this for real or what? They have a 30day money back satisfaction thing so he might just have to see how it goes?

30 day money back, and warranty after that. Don't be too worried.

I put my hand up to say that the Tint Professor do discusting work.

They may have improved since as this was a couple of years ago.

First off all the location the work was to be done was changed the day of the job, so the car was driven 1/2 away.
The car was 'finished' with bubles and ofcuts of tint all over the vehicle.

Thats normal, mine were milky white and had bubbles for nearly a month, but they all went away, and the tint is perfect now.

Do tint professor have the tool to cut the tint right on the edge of the window? Do they take the door trims out to put the tint on? Is the back window done with one piece of tint?

If you were in SA, I'd highly recommend Scorpion Window Tinting.

Bubbles are normal after tinting, especially on the back window. Don't stress.

These guys are Franchise partners like Tint-A-Car™ and quality may vary from place to place. Mine was western suburbs Melbourne. No issues.
