And yours is the standard comment for someone who'll never be able to afford one - mid-life crisis or not. As for the other criteria, well I'd be guessin you'd be the best judge of that given you're not aiming that high.

ps. and for the record I've had plenty of porsches along with my tuff falcons - and will continue to do so, bottom line - a good car is a good car, if u get the shot take one for a drive or even as a passenger - you'll see they are the most well rounded performance car ever.

Tossers with attitude aren't restricted to Porsches, that's for sure.

I've been lucky enough to partake in many Porsche models, the latest GT3 only recently. It was the ducks gut in all aspects of a true sports car. Quick, nimble and would detach your retinas when you mashed the brakes.

As a sideline, the Porsche Cup cars at Bathurst were lapping at the same pace as the V8's...and they are only slightly enhanced road cars, not $million dollar purpose built race cars.

Next year they will be quicker than the V8's I'm told. Imagine that type of performance with number plates. That is why Porsche build arguably the best sports cars in the world.
