Just a few little bits. I'll have some 17inch rims soon, a leather hand brake coat, rubber floor mats and a few other little bits. I have also ordered the rear rubber mat, should be very helpful. Looking at getting the 'Soho' steering wheel to match my interior, but I'm still thinking about this. Any questions, feel free to ask away ;-)
Aluminium foot rest (European Parts) with the aluminium pedals and 'Fiesta' floor mats. Illuminated scruff plates. Illuminated gear lever with short through shifter (European Parts). 'S' Badge. TomTom cradle for iPhone (couldn't help myself, this is seriously cool!) |

Im a big fan of the alloy pedals might get some installed while Im getting the Zetec serviced in a few weeks. What 17s did you go for? Factory or aftermarket? Be interested to hear how they affect the ride quality if at all, am looking at some myself.
Whats the Soho wheel just out of curiosity? |

If you want to save money magnum, buy the pedals and put them on yourself. takes a couple of minutes and will save you $$$ on labor.
Rapid you getting the factory 17's? Also how hard is the foot rest to install? was it expensive? |

Haven't order any rims yet. Tossing up between the Fiesta 17 inchers just because I've seen so many white Zetecs online with them and they look sweet, or a nice set of after market. Not sure. I think I paid $90 for my pedals from Euro Parts, half of the $200 Ford Australia want, so even with postage, they were cheap as chips! Easy to install too mate. Here are the other two things I'm wanting next...
http://www.european-parts.net/catalo...oducts_id=1091 I actually got Sasha (who runs Euro Parts) onto this! Looks the tits! http://www.imagecross.com/11/image-h...p?id=12322.png Sasha should have this up on his site soon. It also comes in blue. |

Ohhhh man, I so want them!
I want the short shifter and the leather for the hand brake. How much are they and are they easy to install without too much hassle to get a professional to do it? Since the leathery feeling on the steering wheel feels very cheap, would the europart consider a feature that can replace it to make it more leatherly feel? Just wondering here :evil3:

You just gotta wind the plastic lip on the lever down a lil bit and it works sweet. They guy who made it has the illuminated gear lever on his short through shifter. Looks the tits I recon.

I said I wanted this part when I first saw it back in 2009, and Sasha has just added it to European Parts. Yeah ok, so it costs $200, but gee it looks sweet. I'm doing a massive order in February, I wonder if it'll be cheaper to get a whole bunch of stuff?

I'll ask Sascha is we could get a discount if we ordered a whole heap of stuff? It would looks super sweet with the Panther Black, definitely. The chrome Kinetic design would look the tits against the black, really tie it in with the fog lights surrounds.

Most major Ford dealers have a panel and paint section. That's where I got my painting done for my WP Zetec. But any crash repair or paint specialist should be able to do it. Thought you were getting rid of the Fez and getting a Supra?

Also I just got a job interview which if I get the job is going to be over an hours drive each way, so the fuel savings are going to come in handy, especially being on 1st year apprentice wages of $7 an hour, I won't be able to afford to drive anything more thirsty. I've also advertised it a few times but its taken no interest at $16,000. Dad said he'd buy it from me but its depending on an an issue at the moment with the money. Hey guys,
I've emailed Sascha at European Parts to see if we could get a 'group saving.' No doubt his next question will be how many parts are we looking at, so all raise there hands if interested in getting some stuff as possibly a discounted rate, I know a few of you are keen just need to get a basic number. I'll let you know of his reply.

Not sure mate. I haven't had a reply which is strange, he's normally on the ball. I'll email again tonight but things looks dead before they started haha. I was thinking of ordering late February if we go ahead but it doesn't worry me.

So I FINALLY got an email back. He said to combine a list of the parts we're after and he'll look at it. So if you want to possible combine an order, drop down the parts on here and I'll send them across and hopefully we'll get some decent discounts.

No, UST is similar to our GST so we are exempt. One thing though, once we hit a certain dollar limit we have to pay GST. I believe that is $1000 AUS and over incurs GST. But if we bodge the invoice all is good, not that I would do that though

Also damn, hopefully more people are interested in something. Should make a dedicated thread for it. they might sell stuff that the Mondeo and Focus guys would be interested in and we can go all in with them too. |
