Default Ford oil Filters- no Drain back valve

Recently changed filter on Mondeo Ma series Duratec 2.3 litre HE engine.
I inspected oil filter and realised it had no Anti drain back valve!
So after cutting filter open I had close inspection,no anti drain back valve so thought being motorcraft fords own it actually from dealer and as always I notice there made in Thailand. I think it already cheap labour to make and slice off a bit more cost and don’t put anti drain back valve. So I buy a Ryco synthetic premium one just to compare and the Ryco have much better filter element I got the one with synthetic suppose to be better and has silicon Anti drain valve and thicker metal body made stronger to go 15000km services it says. I using Ryco for now on!! Also buy a cooper oil filter by wix apparently owned by Ryco and wix cheaper than the other 2 seem well made and has synthetic anti drain back valve! Why would you go to the dealer to buy motorcraft.
