Barra engine exports.

Hey guys I recently scrapped a BA wagon and when the scrap guy came to pick it up we got talking. He said they export the engines to Dubai or Malaysia and then they sell all the usable parts from the car and scrap the rest.

I also watched a show about a scrapyard in the UK and they said the same thing they have a dedicated area for cleaning and loading engines into container's for export to Dubai and Asia.

I was just wondering what they do with our barra engine's as he had no clue he just said it was part of they're business to export them I was just wondering what use they had as the engine in my wagon was on it's last leg's had burn't valves and the ring's were going.
