Default drag slicks

I recently bought a set of slicks (radials) and one of them has a slight leak ,its not on the tread or on the side wall but more in between.
the place that fitted them (not the supplier) said they could put a tube in but we are not sure if its a good idea or not.
anyone had experience in this area.
