Can someone tell me how to remove the transmission mount. From what I have read so far:
1. There is a bolt on the crossmember that you loosen 2. Then jack the transmission up slightly 3. Undo bolts that hold the transmission mount in place 4. Replace with new item Is that how it is done? I'm hoping that this may be the cause of the rough idle. The engine mounts are also a possible cause for sending vibration through the body of the car. How can you tell if they're worn? |
