hi im wanting to to the dash led conversion in my S3 AU XR6 , anyone done it before???

Lots - it's no different to any other AU dash. You can now get T5 wedge LEDs to do the job for you (they even come with a built in resistor to knock the Voltage down from 12 to 3 to suit the LEDs). They will give you "high spots" in the lighting though - but then am yet to see an LED conversion that doesn't. IIRC, Ron_West has probably had the best results.
