Default Cruise to Cotter Dam and BBQ Lunch - Feb 2016

Hello All,

JB did a cruise to Cotter Dam this morning and has suggested members might like to do a cruise down there next Saturday or Sunday for a Brunch/Lunch BBQ, personally I think its a great idea and I'm on board.

It will be a BYO food/drinks, there are already BBQ facilities there at the park so you'll just need to bring what ever you'd like to eat or drink.

So this is where we will need some feedback from members as to dates and times.
Either next Saturday 13 Feb, or Sunday 14 Feb (yes I know its Valentines Day, that's why I'm asking members for their preference).
And we can do it as either a brunch, so leave Canberra around 0900am or we can do it as lunch and leave Canberra around 1100am.

its not a long cruise but would be a great day none the less.

Please post your feedback on dates below, I am happy for either.

please add your name to the list also, would be great to get another great turnout.

G'day Ray.

Sorry for not being there on Thursday, family duties intruded.

Sounds like a fun little drive, the "leader of the opposition" and the offspring would love to attend. Sunday would be good for me as we are busy on Saturday with other commitments.

If the club concurs, please count us in for either brunch or lunch.

Cheers,
Gaz.

P.S hope the hearing for the AU went well for you.

Hello mate, they're welcome to come as always.
Sunday works well for me so we'll see what everyone else says

I am in. I will conirm with the better half, but I am sure she will be in as well. Will probably be only in my LTD though as I do not believe I will have the T re-assembled post detailing.

What are we doing? BYO Picnic? BBQ? Club BBQ there? BBQs on site?

Ok well it's looking like Sunday seems to be the preferred day for everyone, works for me.

Stu it's BYO food and drinks, the site has facility BBQ's there for us to use so if we each bring what we'd like to cook on the BBQ and some salads or something I'm sure that will work.
I'm happy if people want to For everyone to bring their own meats, salads, drinks etc that should work well.
I'm happy to put my salad and bread etc in to a group pool as I clearly won't eat a full container or loaf.
I'll also bring the clubs tomato and BBQ sauce and plastic plates as well.

So do we want to do Brunch (depart Canberra at 9am) or lunch (depart Canberra at 11am) ?

Ray

Ok folks sounds like it's Brunch this Sunday.

I'm suggesting we meet at the back carpark of Old Parliament House for a 9am departure.
