Default front bar progress pics

a few pics for the guys hassling me for more pics. sat the bar on to make sure the new brackets line up.
just pretend the headlights are fitted and the car is clean
im going to modify the bar further so the ea grille remains.
a few more layers of fibreglass, some filler and a spray and it'll be ready to go ;)

hmm, theres another couple of pics but photobucket is being stupid, i'll load them later.
Phil

looks like a good job on the repairs.
should look good with the EA grill, i much prefer the EA grill then the GT style one.
still matches the rest of the kit alright too ;)

If your painting the bar soon, would it be worth doing the door moulds as well? Dont know how much work is involved. But yeah, that bar is looking really nice.

Looks like a Landau without the headlights :P

Loving the windscreen-mounted plate too! Could be the next VL trend?

That bar's going to look awesome when you've tidied it up!

coz i have nothing else to do, shav.

apart from get the EF running properly, and finish the coupe lol ;)

that and the front bar set me back $30, and the rest of the kit was basically free

the door moulds will be sprayed at the same time as the bar. the door handles and mirrors are staying black, for a bit of contrast.
Thanks for the compliments guys

Ahh, now I understand. It does look good mate, dont get me wrong. It just surprises me that you would do this as I thought you were a 'classic, not plastic man'. :P

Come to think of it now mate, a bigger set of wheels would compliment the kit very nicely. Not that I have anything against the AU2 17's but they look a tad small with the kit on. A set of 19's on a tha car with this kit would make you salivate! It would just set the car off and make it look a bit more original. That's just my constructive opinion mate. Well done though.

Looks good.
What is the bar?
You can still use your holes in the bar for spotlights and CAI.
I put a set in my front bar last week.
The air gets around them nicely.

You should shave the GT grille off and just keep the EA one.
Looks heaps better, and it would be different.

Narva make a good small spot light.

Shav, yeah i'm more into the classic, i'm only doing stuff to the EB because its costing me next to nothing. (not taking funds away from the coupe)
19's would be cool, but the AU2's are there to stay.
