Been lurking more often nowadays because I hadn't really done anything new to the Fez... that is, until last week.
On a whim, I cut some medium gauge aluminium sheet to shape, painted it and stuck the resultant "mods" on the black plastic strip below the front bumper: The second photo shows further "modding" by sticking some painted plastic bits onto the aluminium... OK, I've seriously gone astray now, even if it was done out of boredom. I'd bought the sheet metal to fabricate a cover for the battery and maybe the coolant reservoir, but I went and did this instead. I should probably post the pics on Barryboys.co.uk and bask in the derision. God help me

It has suprised me how good it looks! I was reading the title thinking oh no, : but it looks great! you'll have to post up some better pics when you can, i'd love to see them.
I've got the centre lower part painted black on mine now too, you inspired me pith those pics a while back. :
