my uncles mate bought one of the silverados , dont know which model but it cost about 140 000, and asked me to show him how to use the trip computer etc. at 33000km the fuel economy was 13.3 l per 100km having never been reset. its never been used for towing but has done 4 nsw to darwin as well as lots of dirt road driving to get to his nt property.
