Well done Chris, all the long and hard work has paid off.

I ran Chris in the other lane when he went 11.54, the track was slippery as for me... I think I did about a 3.something sixty foot

Anyway Chris backed it up with a ИИИИ load more mid 11's

Well done Chris
Bummer i missed the night .. might have to look at changing jobs to get more time to race

At this rate mate it looks like 10's are only 2-3 mths away

Hopfully we will still see the records fall as easy as they have over the past 12 mths

Keep up the good work

Thanks everyone. Sure was a fun ride. I learnt a lot tonight, and if I want to go faster, I know there have to be several major changes.

I am finally out of ratio. Every pass tonight bar the record pass dropped into 4th gear. Im beating up on 6200 across the line in 3rd, on the 11.45 it hit the limiter 3 times, but was still faster than dropping it into overdrive, which dropped the RPM too much, and slid the converter.

Also, we are out of tyre. Without the little huffer, i used to pull the handbrake up (thanks Rod Clark ) and drop it as i slammed the gas on. tonight, for people who were there, they will see that the car was under tyred.

Anyways, we will play (as usual) and be back next week with some changes.

The result tonight I would like to thank Tony, Scott and Justin and the rest of the crew at CAPA Performance in SA. Everytime I have made a suggestion about the V8 market, they have listened and played ball - many people on this forum have benefited from this hard R and D, and I know many sponsors wont say this, but if you guys dont put your faith in us, we dont eat, its that simple.

So to Tony and crew, and all BOSS owners out there, a heartfelt thanks.

Mods and Admin on Ford Forums.com.au - thankyou for letting me sponsor this crazy place - its a hard task here, tuning, answering the phone, making my own coffee's - you guys have been very welcoming and understanding, and for that i say thanks. Minge, Jeff, Mark, Rodderz, thanks.

Lastly, but most important, my personal pack of Little Blue Soldiers. Every night, playing with these things until midnight in my shop, ORSMXR, DABOSS, and the BIG DADDY SLY XR8, Pete D'UTE, the Leo and Theo show, I could go on.

We dont have a flash workshop, or a big name. But our blood flows into every job that we do, and to accomplish so much in under 12 months is testament to my customers, who trust me with their baby's.

Thanks people, I haven't said this yet, but hear it now.

THE BEST IS YET TO COME

Take care people, enjoy your BOSS

Chris

Well dude I missed the show, but from seeing the results all I can say is bloody well done, I know it's been said before you know your stuff with the BOSS.

Keep up the great work, from all the R & D you have put into this others will now benefit.

All of the thanks should go to you.

Cheers Dude... :sm_headba

9" slick at its limit. 9300 newton units in tractive effort on the launch in a 1700kg car weight = wheelspin.

I'm getting sick of saying it to the same bloke : , but here goes again........................... well done Chris, it certainly proves (again) you can back up what you say with your performances.

122 mph should be good enough for 10.8 -10.9, think you need some more tyres

Imagine what It would do if you ran some serious PSI into it

You are the :king: of the Boss tuners

Well done mate - look forward to catching up for the debreif
