After 5,000 km the fuel consumption on my MB since the last fill is 6.7 l/100km. I can get close to 6 on a trip, but the engine takes forever to warm up at this time of year which I suspect hurts the day to day consumption.
Pretty happy with this as $100 of diesel gets me about 1,000 km, although in NZ we have to pay road user charges which adds another $44 to the cost.
