I think the Spanish Flu ended because it simply ran out of customers, the people either died or learned to run like raped apes at the slightest hint of plague.
(Fear imposed social distancing)
Where to from here?
Get to zero and keep the borders locked for as long as it takes so life can go back to normal. Any reason we can't do that?
