After reading a thread on another forum, i was inspired to start this one on our forum.
So what mistakes have you made in the garage?
I'll start.
1/ i spent two days trying to get my rear drum brakes on my Cortina. Turned out that the linings were paired together, and i had mixed up the pairings. Went straight on after i changed them back
2/ forgot to put the sump plug back in after an oil change.
3/ i once tried to give a
distributor a better grounding by stripping off the coating of part of the wire and running another to the chassis.
im sure theres more.
