Default Re: Next-Gen Everest/Ranger reliability

Hi

Have had a V6 xlt which was a great vehicle the torque is very impressive, I am sure towing is really what it is designed for. This car now given to a work colleague who raves about it, reliable and no issues to date with 30,000 km on it. I now have a new XLS base model, drives pretty good, not an xlt v6 but not towing much so no real need for that torque. No issues with the XLS other than the factory tyres are crap and can’t turn off the smart cruise like the in the XLT. V6 beats the 2.0l for fuel economy but only measured the first 10,0000km on each. Compared to to an early px3 which we owned not a real lot of difference except in the tech and a little bit in refinement. Oldest new ranger is 18months and going well, time will tell on longevity but looking good so far..
