There was people on r/Melbourne on Reddit advocating to do this to American ute owners and linking to the valve core removal tool to buy.
This mindset is spreading, I'm expecting to see more of this sort of low level assholery from the intelligentsia.
I'd say most people are just holding the valve in, you'd have to be a special kind of knob to remove the valve.
