Depends on where the car has been used, and what for. Most utes on the mines have extremely low k's. On some sites the u/g Utes are locked info low range.

But the dirt, mud, salt, and water kills them.

They're a decent cheap buy when we're finished with them.
Labour onsite is hugely expensive, so a Ute can become uneconomical to repair for us, but still be a Good buy for someone who's handy. But gees they are rough. I would imagine the engines are still good, but the bodies are cruddy and the running gear is usually cactus.
