Well John I suppose luck is how you look at it, I'd say I've had good luck 'cause I've learned so much about these newer cars from this awesome thing called the internet (beats paying $800.00 for a workshop manual!) and I get to meet and interact with some great like minded guys who like me have a passion for the cars we drive & tinker with, u c this old bus I'm getting together is just a hack to drive to work & back my real project is my 90k S3 XR6 which I'm about to pull off the road and repower with a BF I6T motor! I'm nearly there with all the bits & pieces I need the olny major expence now it a WOLF
ECU last week I got and fitted a FIBRE SPORTS carbon fibre bonnet with the B series bulge which looks real trick, this week I hope to finalise the exhaust manifold to the turbo( now that was a real head f--k) and once I get this old bus registered it'll be time to as they say "get the head down & the bum up" and start having some fun!!!!!!!!!!!
