Back to the OP which I believe was actually between the Eco Sport 1.0 mini Suv and the Fiesta ST...

I have had a little drive in the 1.0 - man it goes well eh? I did find the Echo a bit 'cheap' feeling tho - although the Titanium, which I believe is the only trim level with that engine, fixes things a little.

I still haven't flogged an ST yet, although I have flogged a few of it's competitors - the Swift Sport, the old and new Clio 200's... It's a hard one, I quite like the idea of souping up that little 1.0 - you can get decent power out it - and a pretty decent note, they sound a bit like a flat 6... Plus with the extra ground clearance - dunno what you do for work but if there's any rough tracks involved it's really a one horse race...

The 1.0 uses a smidge more fuel than I would've thought, but it does pump out a fair bit of grunt so fair enough I guess.
