This chassis is even overkill for a car trailer, I have seen some other caravans since and can see that they are pretty flimsy, this van had 50 x 150 x 4mm rails front to back so it was a good base to start with, the cross braces are C channel but both the front and back are 4mm thick box section, then now with what I have added it wont flex
