It would be interesting to hear how many hours of labour it would take to say swap a Coyote v8 into a Ford Ranger Raptor. And how efficient they could make the process. The price would be directly related to that + create engine
Apparently the left to right hand drive conversion of the Ram 1500's at Walkinshaw is now down to 66 hours per vehicle for re manufacturing . Some of the other left to right conversion there are taking over 110 hours they said.
It all academic anyway now, Seems like ford will go for the twin turbo V6 into the Raptor. Probably give pretty close performance to the v8. Down a bit on power but good torque. Then watch the after-maket get hold of it and crack the
ecu ( or run a piggyback) they wind the boost way up and probably surpass the coyotes power output ( and yes lose your warranty). Bring it on I say.
