They might be okay in micro cars but small to medium size cars ? No.
Puma is a subcompact so a 1.0 Ecoboost is not out of place

Ford is challenging buyer perception of what adequate capacity should be,
a 1.0 litre turbocharged engine is small but the torque and horsepower is there.

The bottom line here is that the engine is more than adequate for intended buyers
and gives them diesel like fuel economy while using generally lower cost petrol.

Last night, I was harsh calling out Ford's pricing but I can't fault them on execution of Puma.
