Default Re: Covid 19 -

87 new cases for Australia and 59 deaths sees the CMR rise to 2.820% while active drop to 3,230. It should be noted that only 9 of those deaths were recorded yesterday with the remaining 50 being aged care deaths that were not reported during July and August. NSW recorded 8 cases with the balance in Victoria.

5 new cases and 1 deaths for NZ so CMR is 1.304% and active cases drop to 111.

The UK had 1,940 new cases and as we know they are now not counting their mortalities by the WHO guidelines we are going to ignore those figures.

Just over 44.5k new cases in the USA yesterday and 1,094 deaths sees CMR drop to 3.016% and active cases drop to 40.2% with the raw numbers actually dropping. Note that the USA is actually minus one day due to time differences.

Other notable points:
The USA completes 85M, India 46M, Italy 9M, France 8M and Morocco 2M tests;
India passes 4M cases;
Asia records a new daily high of 114,956 new cases;
Europe records a new daily high of 35,220 new cases (the higher figure from yesterday was amended downward);

Palestine (671), Libya (672), Czechia (797), Paraguay (821), Costa Rica (1,222), Nepal (1,359), Ukraine (2,723), Iraq (5,036) and India (87,115) all recorded new daily highs; those in blue for the second consecutive day and those in red for a third or more consecutive day.
