Default Re: Covid 19 -

5 new cases for Australia and no deaths so CMR drops to 1.405% and active cases drop to 455 (6.3%). One of those cases was in the ACT ending a 33 day run of no new cases.

No new cases or deaths for NZ so CMR is unchanged and active cases remain at 0.1% (1).

The UK had just over 1.3k new cases but only 77 deaths so the CMR is back down to 14.166%.

Just under 23k new cases in the USA yesterday and 706 deaths sees CMR down to 5.637% and active cases down to 56.6% although the number of active cases started to rise again.

Other notable points:
The USA passes the 2M case mark;
Global cases pass 7M;
Asia (34,820) recorded a new high for daily cases;

Mauritania (102), Kenya (167), Ivory Coast (182), Uzbekjistan (237), Armenia (766), Iraq (1,268), Pakistan (4,960),Chile (6,405) and India (10,884) all recorded new daily highs, those in blue for the second consecutive day and those is red for a third or more consecutive days.
