Apparently they do give us a chart of where your personal taxes go towards. Here is an example. Its pretty crude but its suppose to give you some comfort knowing where its gone to. That said, a bridal registry type system would be nice where you can pick and choose what to support the most instead of the gubberment allocating it. But I would hazard a guess that some of the services that rely on taxes would suffer badly due to bias us Australians would have against them.
