We did another car just the other day.. again broken guide but not as bad as the pics above.. metal guide broken, broken bolt, and bits of plastic again .. all bits were found so we just replaced broken bits, Metal tentsioners and put new mellings oil pump in as customer requested after we has to remove the oil pump due to the broken bolt..
The weird thing with this car it wasn't the normal tentsioner noise that we heard.. the car was a canidate to still have plastic ones in it ...
Well the car did.. the rubber O-rings were still together but the broken guide was causing the noise.
