Different states have different rules as well.

But they cant stop you bolting a gas converter to your car

If you try to hook it up to a gas tank....that is another story.

AFAIK it is only the high pressure side of things in Qld you need to be licensed for, however it is best to check if your intended LPG mechanic who has to sign the forms is OK with you doing some work yourself.


There is not much you are legally allowed to do without a licence these days.
