Not one of those countries adheres to democratic values, all those countries are controlled by fundamentalists and despots, all of those countries are abusers of human rights, the sooner we are no longer reliant upon this lot the better but that won't happen for some time yet.
The Saudi Oil Minister recently stated that it was in OPEC's interests to drop the price of crude, there is no value for them to see alternatives become widely available or more importantly become viable.
The Stone age did not end because the world ran out of stone, same principle with Oil.
