If you
really want to keep the steering wheel controls, get a factory head unit. If it were me, I'd get an aftermarket head unit, enjoy the better quality sound and functions and pocket the left over money. I would learn to live without the steering wheel controls.

Same question I always ask - how loud do you want to spend?
If you're not going to amplify them, Pioneer 5x7 150W should do. If you're going to amp them, I like the Fusion component (5x7 mid plus 32mm tweeter)
speakers.
